On September 12, 1987, La Donna's Fashions was opened after ten months of thorough research and background work. It opened with a bang. An official ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration took place.

On September 10, 1988, La Donna's Fashions observed it's 2nd Anniversary with a grand opening in a new and better location. During the process time of re-opening La Donna's Fashions, La Donna's Scarfwear was born.

Prior to its opening at the new location, La Donna's Scarfwear held its first scarf path. That date was August 16, 1988. It's invited guest were pulled rom the compiled list of over 500 customers.

The owners got on the phone and made calls to their customers to share with them the new and different scarf ties that they had created. Parties were scheduled at time that were convenient to the customer. This style of selling was working so well that in May, 1989, La Donna's Scarfwear opened the opportunity for others to start their own business with La Donna's Scarfwear.

For over seventeen years, La Donna's Scarfwear has had the privilege of entering customers lives through home parties, conferences, conventions, and one on one. "La Donna's Scarfwear" was born when two sisters took their mother's passion for scarves, learned how to adorn their clothes with them, and came up with the idea that they could make a business of helping people choose scarves in the comfort of their own living rooms.
